Jujuy is pronounced Hoo-Hoo-ee (Jujuy) Week 73

Hola Familia y amigos!

That subject line was for my mom just in case… LOVE YOU MOM!!!
Anyways it’s been a crazy week! Jujuy is really different to be honest but very cool. It’s a lot more traditional in its ways but the people are great. One example: Today I ate llama bbq hahah! It was tasty! I’m definitely not in Tucumán anymore haha! It’s been raining a ton this week but at least that means its not hot haha!
Basically most of the people here are darker skinned, short, and very Bolivian looking. It’s kind of hard to explain what that means but it makes sense, trust me. We are in a ward and have a stake here so it’s a lot bigger. There were about 80 people in church yesterday and Elder Ferreira says that very few people went. The members love to help us and we are having a bunch of success!
Elder Ferreira is great! Very diligent and obedient and I´m learning a ton! We teach quite a lot and I am loving working with the members. He´s from Buenos Aires and he’s ending his mission this transfer! He leaves on the 26th of December poor thing haha.
One cool thing that we did this week was the ward talent show! It was celebrating the Day of the Tradition here in Jujuy so we had to do something like traditional. We sang a song called “La Chacarera del Rancho” by Los Nocheros. Look it up. It did not go well haha!
I’m really happy! Also we have a baptism this Saturday! Her name is Milena and she’s a girlfriend of a recent convert!
Love you guys! Ask questions haha
